Loctite 648 is a high strength, green liquid resin threadlocker designed for bonding cylindrical shaft and pinion joints, bolts, nuts and studs to prevent loosening due to shock and vibration. This product is used for applications requiring maximum strength in assemblies that do not require disassembly. The product cures when confined in the absence of air between metal surfaces with little clearance. The product is effective on all metals, including passive substrates (stainless steel, aluminum, plated surfaces) and resists high temperatures.
