KAVAN Sky Blue Fleece

KAVAN heat seal coating film is made of a high strength but very thin and light polyester polymer coated with a heat sensitive adhesive layer with high quality pigments. It is supplied in rolls of 64 cm width and 2 m length, the back side with the adhesive is protected by a transparent protective liner.

KAVAN iron-on film is resistant to model fuels - glow, diesel and gasoline.

The film thickness is 50-65 µm (including adhesive) and the surface density is 63-70 g/m2 (generally, darker colors have a slightly lower weight than lighter ones).

The shrinkage of the film is 5-10%; the same in all directions.

It is possible to use ordinary sealing irons and hot air guns, the working temperature range is approx. 95-180°C. The optimum temperature for fixing to the frame is approx. 95-100°C, the shrinkage temperature is approx. 130-140°C, for contouring 140-160°C.
