Product description and features

This A40 gearbox features the 8-pole version of the A40-S motor, proven thousands of times over. The high-torque, high-speed external rotor, combined with an efficient 6.7:1 planetary gearbox, has been specially designed for large electric gliders up to a take-off weight of around 8 kg. Thanks to the perfect coordination of motor and gearbox, this motor unit can drive propellers up to 23" in size efficiently and powerfully. It's a very robust and reliable system that works reliably even under extreme conditions and high loads.

This top-of-the-range motor, with its optimized weight of just 247g, is ideally suited to gliders weighing up to 8 kg.
