Powerful thermal glider (electric glider) for sport or competition flying. The Albatros is delivered as a glider. The kit includes parts for its electrification, including a tool to cut the front of the fuselage.
The retro look and the excellent flight characteristics will please many pilots. Thanks to the profile used and the favorable surface loading, the Albatros has a calm and stable glide. Turning in thermals is easy and pleasant thanks to the "W" tension. Highly efficient flaps can be used not only when circling in thermals, but also when landing as brakes.
The all-balsa construction of the wing is complemented by a spruce beam and a carbon reinforcement in the center of the wing. For ease of transport the wing is divided into 3 parts.
The fiberglass hull is already reinforced with carbon roving in the basic version. The internal dimensions of the hull are sufficient even for larger capacity LiPol cells.
The floating elevator is an all balsa construction with a carbon beam and a leading edge. The elevator is easily removable.
The steering wheel is also an all balsa construction with a carbon leading edge.
The hull is reinforced with carbon!
