At your request, we have developed an even more compact version of our Scirocco.
The Scirocco XS features a newly-developed hull with even greater strength at the rear thanks to its oval shape. The wing geometry has been optimized for the smallest span in the outer area.
With a wingspan of 3.25 m, it's even more compact and significantly more maneuverable, making it ideal even in sloping alpine regions. The Scirocco XS is equally at home on the plains or in dynamic acrobatics. The Scirocco XS is a high-performance glider in modern GRP/CFRP shell construction with very high strength. The H-shaped main strut is sandwiched between the Airex support fabric and the laminated carbon-fiber fabric, which has been considerably strengthened. Scirocco XS is suitable for amateur pilots looking for a versatile sailboat focused on maneuverability, aerobatics/slope. The complex, elegant design provides excellent trajectory detection as usual. The surface connection from the center to the outer surfaces is made cleanly and adhesively by a square CFRP bar.
The model is available in two versions (ARF/PNP), with the PNP version largely pre-assembled. The Ro-Power Torque 4356 motor, spinner, Aeronaut airscrew and servos with wiring are installed in the PNP version, so construction is reduced to a minimum. In the ARF version, you can use individual RC components at your own discretion.
