In order for a model to fly satisfactorily, it is necessary to have a correct angle of incidence and a wing that is not twisted, as well as a good C of G. An imprecise C of G (e.g. with the fingers) forces you to make many test flights, with the risk, in the worst case, of breaking the model during the first tests. As a rule, the position of the CG can be found on the plan or in the manual, but how do you position it accurately on the model? With the centering scale, this is no longer a problem. It can be used for models from 300 g to 10 kg. The measuring range is between 30 and 150 mm, i.e. on a rectangular wing (without boom) the chord of the wing can be up to 450 mm, this should be sufficient for most common models.
