The R&G cotton flock 50g is a filling product.
Associated with a resin it allows the realization of fillets for the reinforcement of an assembly.
It will also be useful in the realization of your molds.

Some details :

  • Filling product thixotropic light.
  • For epoxy, polyester and polyurethane resins.

Technical characteristics:

  • White strips,
  • Fiber length: approx. 350 µm (typical 150 to 500 µm)
  • Fiber width: 10 to 25 µm (1 to 3 denier)
  • Density: 1.5 g/cm²3;
  • Melting characteristics: chars at 250°F (120°C), decomposes at 300°F (150°C)
  • Tensile strength: up to 120,000 psi (ca. 800 N/mm²).
  • Insoluble in acetone, DMF or 40% NaOH.
  • Water absorption: approx. 0.3 g per g of cotton flakes.
