GEANT double-blade mechanical airbrakes (Schempp-Hirth type)
Originally designed for the DUO DISCUS X in 1:2.5 scale, these AFs can be fitted to all giant gliders and motorgliders.
Their construction is very similar to that of the larger models, so the hinge fittings are no longer flat, but tubular steel.
Locking in the closed position is particularly effective.
A servo with a minimum torque of 5kg is required per AF to operate it.
