Here's another model based on the MB-01 chassis - this time with intermediate wheelbase, rear mid-engine and rear-wheel drive (RWD). Developed for racing, the Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA is a lighter, optimized version of the two-door Giulia Sprint GT coupe. Marketed from 1965, 500 examples were produced, and at the end of the 1960s, a factory car became class champion on several occasions in the European Touring Car Championship.
