The Revolution 235CP is an updated and improved version of the proven 230 model, equipped with new features to make it even easier to fly, more powerful and more durable than ever. It features exclusive and innovative SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology, which offers angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent accidents in Normal mode, and no limits in all other flight modes - as well as a "Panic Recovery" mode to get you out of any hazardous situation at the touch of a button if you ever need to!

Best of all, the Revolution 235CP arrives 100% factory-assembled, flight-tested and ready to fly right out of the box: no assembly or configuration required. The basic Ready-To-Fly (RTF) version includes everything you need in a single box, with the exception of a battery and charger, so it's a perfect choice for beginner to experienced pilots looking for maximum convenience and the best value for money. It lets you choose a practical, economical Spektrum Powerstage package, or the separate battery and charger you prefer. What's more, the included Spektrum DXS 2.4 GHz transmitter can be used with other Bind-N-Fly (BNF) and BNF Basic aircraft once you've successfully learned to fly the Revolution 235! A Bind-N-Fly (BNF) Basic version is also available for pilots who wish to use their existing Spektrum transmitter with Smart or non-Smart batteries and chargers they already own. And both versions include a Spektrum flybarless flight controller and receiver including a Smart transmitter file that lets you import all NX and iX series transmitter parameters during the linking process to make flying with your favorite or upgraded transmitter quick and easy.
And the fun doesn't stop once you've learned to fly! In Stunt/Idle Up flight modes, the Revolution 235CP can perform basic aerobatic maneuvers, such as loops, rolls, inverted flight and much more. It's even capable of performing 3D aerobatics, whether you're already an experienced pilot or still learning. What's more, you can customize it with different colors of main rotor blades, tail rotors, canopies and even landing gear. There are also optional carbon-fiber main-rotor blades, aluminum blade grips, main-engine and tail-engine mounts, and upgraded lighting kits for night flying.
You can purchase the RealFlight Trainer Edition RC flight simulator and a Spektrum WS2000 wireless simulator dongle (together in the economical RFL-1212) to fly this and other models using the transmitter included with the RTF Basic version! The simulator includes several of Horizon Hobby's most popular trainer aircraft and integrated virtual flight instructor lessons. This helps new pilots learn to fly successfully by training on a PC at home, on a laptop anywhere!

Already own a Spektrum™ transmitter? Bind-N-Fly (BNF) aircraft make it easier than ever to get off the ground quickly and enjoy the best possible control experience. They come out of the box with the power system, servos and a Spektrum 2.4 GHz receiver installed. So all you have to do is link the receiver to a compatible transmitter, complete the final assembly and fly (transmitter, battery and charger sold separately)!
The factory-installed, expert-tuned AR6250MHXD flybarless flight controller features Spektrum's exclusive AS3X and SAFE technologies. Updated SAFE technology features angle limits and improved self-leveling to help prevent accidents in normal mode. The AS3X mitigates the effects of wind and turbulence without limits or auto-leveling in all other flight modes, so you can fly upside down and perform aerobatics too. What's more, you can use Panic Recovery mode to get you out of any hazardous situation by pressing and holding a button if you ever need to!
The Revolution 235 is equipped with a Spektrum Smart flight controller, a flight controller and receiver that provides - with Smart and non-Smart batteries - real-time overall flight battery voltage, engine speed and other telemetry information to Spektrum AirWare-compatible transmitters (including DXS, DX6e and 8e, DX6 G2/G3 and 8 G2, DX9, NX6 to 20, iX12 to 20 and others) while you fly.
If this is your first RC helicopter, Horizon Hobby's exclusive SAFE (Sensor Assisted Flight Envelope) technology prevents over-control and accidents, while also offering several flight modes to provide more control and capability as your skills progress:
In this flight mode, the helicopter features tilt and bank angle limits to prevent excessive over-control, which can lead to loss of orientation and accidents. When the joysticks are released, the helicopter automatically reverts to level flight, allowing you to recover and simply "steer" the helicopter, rather than concentrating on keeping it level. This flight mode also makes take-off and landing much easier!
There are no limits on pitch or bank angle in this flight mode, so you're in total control! Head speed is higher and more constant than in Normal mode, allowing you to fly inverted (upside down) and perform basic aerobatic maneuvers, such as loops, rolls and more.
In this flight mode, there are no limits and the head speed is even higher, so you can perform more aggressive 3D aerobatic maneuvers.
If you lose control of the helicopter in Stunt/Idle Up flight modes, simply press and hold the Panic Recovery button, or switch to Normal mode and release the right control stick. SAFE technology will automatically return the helicopter to level flight!
Improved metal-geared digital cyclic servos and an updated frame design with an optimized servo and improved rotor head geometry, aluminum swashplate and rotor head block offer increased durability, precision and capability.
CP (Collective Pitch) main rotor mechanics offer fluid control to deliver a unique blend of hovering, sporty and aerobatic capabilities that you can't get with FP (Fixed Pitch) mechanics.
The Revolution 235 arrives 100% factory-assembled, flight-tested and ready to fly right out of the box! It's equipped with state-of-the-art Spektrum 2.4 GHz technology, already linked to the DXS controller/transmitter included with the RTF Basic version, and both versions link to most DSMX/DSM2-equipped transmitters with more than 6 channels.
The more powerful and efficient brushless main motor and rear motor are connected to a factory-installed Spektrum Dual Smart ESC, and are compatible with the popular 3S 850mAh Smart LiPo batteries, inexpensive Smart batteries or similar non-Smart batteries with IC2 connectors (or use a compatible IC2 adapter).
You can customize the Revolution 235CP with different colors of main rotor blades, tail rotors, canopies and landing gear. There are also optional carbon-fiber main-rotor blades, aluminum blade grips, main-engine and tail-engine mounts, and upgraded lighting kits for night flying (optional parts sold separately).
