The model aircraft was built with a wingspan of about 2 meters and a scale of approx. 1: 5.5.This size was deliberately chosen in order to have a practical size but also a voluminous model.The kit is an all-wood construction. All parts are precision built and laser cut. The fuselage is mainly made of solid plywood and is suitable for combustion engines as well as electric propulsion (brushless motor).The wing construction is a solid combination of plywood and balsa and is completely covered with balsa boards, so that the wings are extremely strong and have excellent torsional strength.The model aircraft has large flaps like the original Cessna. Thanks to special hinges, the flaps can be deflected up to 90 °, so that landing on small airfields is no problem.All rudder surfaces have the original reinforcement that improves the optical appearance. The window frames are mounted separately, the cockpit doors are shown on the fuselage.For the construction of the cockpit, there are components for the instrument panel included. This makes it look real.
The undercarriage is made of fiberglass and comes in white with the kit.
Matching pneumatic wheels and a steerable rear landing gear are also included.
The kit includes a wedge and templates for the assembly of the wooden parts, with which the assembly will be successful even with a less extensive knowledge of wood construction.
