The Solaris can fly as well on the plain, as in slope flight. In windy or not so windy conditions, it is capable of performing aerobatics. The wing has a modified SD7080 profile, which gives it a wide speed range and excellent performance in thermal flight. Its weight in flight is about 1600g. The fuselage is made of carbon reinforced fiberglass. The wing is made of poplar and has ailerons and flaps.
