Brushless motors with Neodym magnets and rotating cage produce high torque, enabling large-diameter propellers to be "turned" at high pitches. The motor shaft is made of treated steel, and is supported by 2 ball bearings. These motors can be powered by NiCd, NiMh or LiPo batteries.
