With the iCharger 458DUO, the renowned manufacturer Junsi has completely renewed the technology of the famous 308DUO charger.
The new iCharger 458DUO combines the advantages of the successful Junsi iCharger 308DUO with the latest technology, giving it significantly more power and new functions.
The two charging outputs are equipped with high-current-resistant XT90 connectors for long-lasting power transmission.
The technical specifications are impressive: charging power of 2200 W (from >40 V), LiXx cells from 1 to 8 s and charging current of up to 45 amperes, which is sufficient for large, high-capacity batteries. Of course, all other battery types can be charged, such as LiHV, LiIo, NiZn, PB, NiCd or NiMh.
Discharge power is 140W total (80W per output if only one output is used), but can be increased to 2200W by means of an external load (discharge resistor). Of course, the iCharger 458DUO can also handle regenerative charging. In this case, for example, battery capacity is fed back into the supply battery from a full flight battery.
The balancing current of 4 amps in total (2A per output) always guarantees perfectly balanced cell voltages.
A USB-C PD port is also integrated for charging smartphones etc. (5V/3A, 9V/2A, 12V/1.5A) or for software updates. The Micro SD slot can be used to save data, but also for future updates.
The "Digital Power" function is new: one output can be used as a stabilized power supply. Output voltage can be set from 2V to 32V, current from 1A to 45A (please note that a corresponding power supply must be available! ).
A servo tester is also integrated - please note that an external power supply is required!
Menu guidance is almost identical to that of the Junsi iCharger 308DUO, 406 DUO or 4010DUO.
A 2.8" IPS LCD screen ensures good readability even in low light conditions.
An English-language instruction manual is supplied with the charger on CD, while the German-language version can be downloaded from our website.
All Junsi X and DUO series chargers are designed and approved for use in model making. Industrial use is not intended and therefore not permitted! All Junsi chargers may only be used with power supplies designed for model-making! AGM batteries may not be charged in the PB program!
