In his treatise "Architecture Navalis Mercatoria", the famous naval architect F.H. Chapman designed and described a small Dutch fishing boat, which he enriched with graceful and light decorations, transforming it into an original and elegant pleasure boat.
The origins of the "LEIDA" go back to the typical Dutch fishing boats of the 18th century. Its side stabilizers and triangular mainsail distinguish it from other models of its time.
