Many ship modellers like the look of the small fishing boats that used to leave for the fishing grounds of the North Sea. The Möwe 2 is based on the well-known Möwe kit but with new materials and the precision of laser cutting. The construction is simple and straightforward which makes the Möwe ideal as a first model or for groups and clubs. All parts are laser cut and require minimal work. The hull is made of a material called A-Tex for its lightness and remarkable strength. The mast, booms and exhaust pipe are made of aluminum and add undeniably to the look of the model. A separate set in this kit is the winch which is made of precision cut PTC parts, once painted, the look is very faithful.
