The 35 mm diameter makes them particularly easy to handle, but they also have a low weight (approx. 230 g), a pleasant noise level and smooth operation thanks to the balanced motor and the ground ball bearing shaft. The use of MICROMOT collets made of high quality steel (see description below) allows extremely concentric clamping of even the smallest tool shanks. The use of MICROMOT 60 units requires a transformer. We recommend the MICROMOT NG 2 transformer.Proxxon MICROMOT 60/EF drill and milling machineWith quick-change chuck between 0.3 and 3.2 mm. Especially advantageous when working with accessories of different diameters, e.g. with HSS drills. Can also be used with MICROMOT steel collets. The speed control of our 12 volt units only works with non-stabilized power supplies (e.g. all MICROMOT transformers). Connection to stabilized power supplies is possible. However, the units operate at maximum speeds (this also applies to battery operation).
